flickr

Well, folks it looks like we're beginning to get that necessary critical mass of people on the flickr site to make it work.

And we're also getting a significant number here on the blog!  Please don't be shy to comment on the postings — we need to start developing our community and this is a great place to do it.

When you get to the flickr site — take a look at some of the photos posted:  we have a couple of truly talented photographers in our midst.  AND comment on their photos.  Let everyone know how you are responding to their work — that way we can all develop as we get a better sense of how our work is received.

Congratulations.  And I'll do another post soon.

  5. Well -- the easiest way is to let me (Mr. W.) know your username, and I'll fire you off an invitation.

Another way is to send a message to my flickr account, just saying hi, can I join?

That flickr account is under the username The Digital Image. Or email me at Learn60, and we can go from there.

If you sign up as a Follower on the blog, your posting won't be anonymous, and it will be easier to get in touch.

  6. The Digital Image has many groups to join. Which one exactly is ours.

  7. Hi Alannah: I'm just plain puzzled by that — I've only made one group (YDIP12).

It's not the first time I've been confused by flickr -- and I doubt it's going to be the last!

  9. Yay Alannah!

I checked out some of your photos this morning: great work. I loved the one of the dragonfly — it looks a little chilled.
